Patients who are looking after a relative, friend or neighbour.

We recognise that a number of our patients care for relatives, friends or neighbours sometimes on a permanent basis with little support. If you are a carer we would like to record this fact on your medical record. Firstly, to ensure that appropriate support can be made available and secondly, to take this into account should a GP or nurse be assessing your own health needs.
